Jac Caglianone, Royals. I could not possibly be more happy about being this in on Cags, who hit the ball on the nose a bunch last year and got little for it. While hitting .157 and slugging .295, his expected stats were .237 and .431, respectively. He had a 12% barrel rate and his hardest-hit ball came off the bat at 114 mph -- star numbers. More importantly, he controlled the strike zone well for a player in his first full pro season; a 22% strikeout rate and 8% walk rate that were basically league-average. Throw in changes to Kauffman Stadium designed to produce more homers, and I have Caglianone slugging close to .500 with 30 bombs.
