There’s clearly a middle ground on the money issues, agreement to at least work together on other ones, and hopefully a shared understanding that none of this is worth missing games over. It’s not fair to the players, and it’s not good for competition, but the MLBPA has to return the owners’ offer with something that keeps the process going and pushes the sides to a deal."
